I just wanted to tell you about this miracle: Okay, so I just have to tell you about the cool thing that happened last night. I hope you know that we see miracles in the work on a daily basis, just sometimes they stick out a little more than others, so I've got to tell you.
So we went to the blocs last night, neither of us really feeling it. We go into the first bloc and start sort of half-heartedly knocking it - nothing. We start into the second bloc and about halfway down, we realize that we didn't pray to know if this is where we need to be. So we stopped right there and prayed. Afterwards, we both were like, "No, this isn't the right bloc." We walk outside and Sora Runyan picks a bloc. I'm like, "Sounds good to me. I think I might have came here on exchanges a month ago with Sora Runyan, but all the blocs look the same to me and I forgot to write down the addresses that day." Our third door in, we're standing in front of the door and I'm like, "Sora, I've been here. I remember standing in front of this exact door w/ Sora Shepard a month ago."
So anyway, this guy comes to the door and we're talking to him for 5-10 min., not really going anywhere, but he's not leaving and neither are we for some reason. Just then his brother comes up carrying one of our passalong cards, points to me, and is like, "You were here before. Not you (looking at Sora Runyan), but you came with a girl about my height who had blue eyes. You said you'd come back, but you never did!" Well, after a few minutes of putting things together, he let us in and we had a lesson with him and his fiancee. It turns out that I had written down his name last time, but somehow didn't manage to get any of his information except for his apartment number and had no idea how to get back in touch with him! The Lord is incredible - this really is His work! Not even the flaky sister forgetting to copy down addresses will stop someone who's ready from hearing the gospel! Just thought I'd share that experience with you.
