Mission Miracle from Elder John Wilde

A few weeks ago I received a referral from Germany that a man was in Germany and some missionaries contacted him but that he would return to Romania and I got his information. Sadly, the information was incorrect. Last week I decided to really pray to be guided to where I needed to go, and the image of a flag in front of a block came to mind... I remembered that flag very distinctly and so I obeyed and went. The address of the man was the same street but a different block and address, but I felt like we needed to go to this one block. So we went and lo and behold, we found that man!!! Sooo awesome! God knows where His children are!

Mission Miracle from Elder Brian Foote

My little miracle for the week comes from Friday evening. I was just sitting in the room, wondering what difference I have made, but the Spirit told me strongly that I have made some big changes in myself for the better. I saw a small glimpse of what my Heavenly Father wants to happen to me and a little bit of the reason that He has me here.

It’s interesting—I always thought that when I would help someone from the beginning through to baptism that that would be the best—then I would really feel like an instrument in the hands of the Lord; my mission would be “worth it”. But now that I’m actually experiencing that entire process (from start to ‘finish’), I’m realizing so much more now than ever that this is the Lord’s work. I haven’t done anything! I am simply the one to witness the miracle. It is the Spirit that converts, it is the Savior that everyone must come unto. This work really has nothing to do with me—the Lord is just blessing me with the opportunity to see His miracles. It’s pretty humbling.

Elder Robert Kirk

We had a little "miracle" this week. I lost a tiny piece of our block key and we couldn’t get into our apartment for the beginning of the week. Elder Williams said a prayer that we'd find it and he found it the next day on the road to the vila. It helped me realize that I'm proud and I don’t like to pray when it's something small. Anyways, I learned my lesson.

Also I had a little miracle this Sunday at church. I was standing at the entry to the church when the branch president came up to me and asked me if I could teach class which means I would have barely an hour to prepare a lesson which is always stressful! But I prayed and asked God to give me some help to have a good lesson to that I could help the members. As I read the lesson it seem to organize itself in my mind and all the scriptures that I needed that went with my lesson came quickly and clearly into my mind, making the planning a lot less stressful. When it came time to give it I felt prepared and wasn't scared and the lesson was great and the members left happy and edified. I was left humble and so grateful to my Savior for one of his as Nephi says "tender mercies" that he had giving to me to increase my faith in him and to show his love to me. This was my miracle this week!

Mission Miracle from Sora Rachel Cannon

I just wanted to tell you about this miracle: Okay, so I just have to tell you about the cool thing that happened last night. I hope you know that we see miracles in the work on a daily basis, just sometimes they stick out a little more than others, so I've got to tell you.
So we went to the blocs last night, neither of us really feeling it. We go into the first bloc and start sort of half-heartedly knocking it - nothing. We start into the second bloc and about halfway down, we realize that we didn't pray to know if this is where we need to be. So we stopped right there and prayed. Afterwards, we both were like, "No, this isn't the right bloc." We walk outside and Sora Runyan picks a bloc. I'm like, "Sounds good to me. I think I might have came here on exchanges a month ago with Sora Runyan, but all the blocs look the same to me and I forgot to write down the addresses that day." Our third door in, we're standing in front of the door and I'm like, "Sora, I've been here. I remember standing in front of this exact door w/ Sora Shepard a month ago."
So anyway, this guy comes to the door and we're talking to him for 5-10 min., not really going anywhere, but he's not leaving and neither are we for some reason. Just then his brother comes up carrying one of our passalong cards, points to me, and is like, "You were here before. Not you (looking at Sora Runyan), but you came with a girl about my height who had blue eyes. You said you'd come back, but you never did!" Well, after a few minutes of putting things together, he let us in and we had a lesson with him and his fiancee. It turns out that I had written down his name last time, but somehow didn't manage to get any of his information except for his apartment number and had no idea how to get back in touch with him! The Lord is incredible - this really is His work! Not even the flaky sister forgetting to copy down addresses will stop someone who's ready from hearing the gospel! Just thought I'd share that experience with you.

Mission Miracle from Elder Thomas Letham

Spiritual Experience: It's great when the Lord guides you in the little things. Here's my story for the week. We were street contacting (something that we tend to do). We also tend to go up and down the major streets that are in our area. Well, we were going up one of the major streets in our area, when we both figured we should go check out this littler side street that was poking off from Stefan Cel Mare (the street we were on). We went on the side street. At first it seemed like a sort of dumb idea, because there weren't very many people on it. In fact, we were on that street for a good 10 minutes, and were only able to stop about 4 people. But one of those 4 people is now an incredible new investigator! We really felt like the Lord had (in a very simple, non-earthshaking way) led us to that side street to find him.
